The University of Chicago Tai Chi Tao Club offers instruction in tai chi form (Yang family form, parts 1, 2 and 3), chi kung, ba gua, hsing i, ta lu, push hands, internal breathing exercises, form corrections, bandying exercises, tui na (acupressure massage), applications, sensitivity training and stress reduction techniques.
The U of C Tai Chi Tao club meets once a week and is open to all levels, including beginners. The main session meets Sunday from Sessions are in Ida Noyes Hall unless otherwise announced. See the quarter schedule for more information.
No prior sign-up is necessary; any University student, staff member, faculty member, alumnus, alumna, or spouse is welcome to attend.
